AmeriChrome™ PVD Chrome Process
AmeriChrome™ PVD Chrome is a decorative process that allows ultra thin layers of metal to be deposited on a variety of surfaces. The process was originally developed for the space program and is currently used in a variety of commercial applications including components for the automotive aftermarket. The AmeriChrome™ PVD Chrome process rakes place in a sophisticated vacuum metallization chamber where precise layers of various types of chrome are deposited onto the substrate. The ultra thin layers of metal bond tightly with the substrate and provide excellent adhesion and a bright chrome like appearance. |
